Top design
Cook eggs (boiled or poached) on same appliance at same time as toasting bread. This is not my first model and I appreciate the design change to pan which improves convenience. A kitchen appliance you’ll actually use for a long time.

The Tefal TT552842 can toast from setting 1 (lightly browned) to 5 (well browned) but there is no dedicated defrost setting.

The egg cooks for as long as there is water in the egg cooker. You adjust the amount of water depending on how long you want the egg cooked for. It comes with a water measure which shows the different water levels needed for different results. Once the water is all gone, it stops.
This model does not have an auto shut-off feature.
