Customers Say
These binoculars offer good value for money with decent magnification and clarity, but some users report issues with focusing and build quality. Ideal for casual use but may not satisfy more serious stargazers.

Perfect for stargazing.
Perfect for stargazing. Can quite easily see the moons of Jupiter and just about the rings of Saturn. If using the zoom then it's best to mount them on a tripod. You may need an adapter depending on your tripod mount but those are easy to find and cheap.

Binoculars.
These were a descent price, got them home and noticed the eye view piece was a little smaller than expected, however they are a good pair despite a good price.

Too soon to tell
Ordered while on holiday but for delivery to my home store. Haven't had a chance to try them in anger yet! Bought a different set but same brand and am entirely happy with them. Expectation is that these will be just as good!

Not great Binoculars
I tried these hoping the big magnification would be a great feature with the zoom feature, but sadly returned then after trying them, very difficult to focus clearly at any magnification and zoom function just makes things worse.

Amazing Binoculars
For the price, the binoculars have great range and visual aspects, I’ve used them multiple times at the airport and I haven’t stopped using them, they also have a very secure strap. I’ve already recommended this to many people.

I bought these for a second pair but when I had them trying to set them up was a pain on the left side there is a dark patch that I can't get rid of they don't line up to your eyes so it always look like your looking through the 2 eye pieces I was not very impressed with these I have had binoculars before from celestron and never had a problem but these I can't use iam not impressed with them

Tried to return to argos but they won't take it. It shows black shadow around eye. I went to argos to show them but they told me to google how to set and I tried that but still no luck. It still showing the same black shadow around the both eye no matter how to adjust it. I can't take photo unfortunately.

Hello Phil,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Celestron Upclose G2 10x-30x 50mm Zoom Binoculars 580/0755: ''It is possible to use 580/0755 for casual stargazing at the low end of the Zoom magnification 10x to 20x. 30x will be too powerful to handhold a binocular steady for stargazing. Consider the Celestron SkyMaster range which is designed for stargazing 729/6752 & 932/8518.''

Hi JohN,
Thanks for your question.
Viewing through UpClose G2 is comfortable for eyeglass wearers and non-eyeglass wearers alike, thanks to its rubber eyecups. Keep the eyecups up for proper positioning of the eyes without glasses. If you are wearing glasses, simply fold them down and out of the way.
I hope this helps. :)
