Hello there,
The supplier has advised the following for the Peppa's Flip & Learn Phone:
"The phone doesn't have an ON/OFF feature. When the lid is closed the unit plays a ring song after 5 seconds. If you still don't touch the phone, the unit goes to automatic shut off. You've to open it to awaken it."

That's my thought too, l want to buy two for my boys but the wife says she doesn't want it because of the colour.
Everything related to Peppa Pig is very pink, no getting away from that. My little boy is 2 and is Peppa mad, we have this phone and I wouldn't be in the least offended if someone had given it to him as a gift.
