These are very decent budget head phones for the price, it is hard to expect anything more - good brand, fairly good sound quality (do not expect the bass will blow your head off), quite robust (especially the cable), and the fact they are partially foldable makes them excellent travel companion (easy to squeeze into a backpack). These are actually my second pair - the first one's only fault was the glue holding one of the cushions together gave up after over two years of exploitation in all sorts of conditions (very humid included), so no wonder really, and this would not affect usability at all, or even the looks (one would not see the "damage" untill one knew about it). Still, seeing these are still being sold I got myself another pair in no time.

Headphone audio cable sound was cutting out as soon as I plugged it in to my phone and moving. This is becoming more and more of an occurrence with Sony. They used to be solid quality 20+ years ago for cables, but now you can feel the lead is of cheaper material
