Russell Hobbs BRITA Purity Filter Clear Plastic Kettle holds a BRITA MAXTRA PRO Limescale Expert Filter cartridge which helps prevent the build upbuild-up of limescale in the kettle. The 3kw of power ensures rapid boil so you won't be waiting for a brew. It has a 1L capacity, so it's big enough to make up to four cups. The Perfect Pour spout ensures the water goes into your cup without splashing over your work surfaces and to keep your work top clutter free, the base has integrated cord storage so it can be tidied away when it's not in use.
The BRITA water filter reduces impurities such as chlorine, lead and copper, preventing scale deposits for a longer product lifetime. A built-in indicator reminds the consumer when it's time to change the filter cartridge and there is a free MAXTRA PRO Limescale Expert cartridge included to get you started.

Strange taste to Tea
The kettle is not glass it is plastic. Previously we used a brita water jug and separate kettle. I do not like this product because it is made from plastic that isn’t clear. I thought it would be glass. Also we noticed the tea/coffe taste strange e we stopped using it after 2 weeks. It was quite when boiling.

Its a bit noisy but boils quickly.. I didn't like so many 'colours' on the kettle - silver, black and white.. I would have preferred an all silver look!! But that's just my aesthetic style! We like the built in Brita water filter so this is what we were looking for in our choice. Last kettle stopped working so had to order one quickly as didn't like the taste of water boiled in the microwave!
