Good, with One Proviso . . .
I'm reasonably satisfied with the build quality of the item and the usefulness of the enclosed instructions but I'm a bit annoyed that I didn't spot - by viewing the web-site images using a magnifying glass - that the connectors supplied are of a cranked type, not straight. They will, therefore, not fit one of the items for which I bought the adaptor - a portable radio, the power inlet to which is buried in a cavity. Too late to take it back now since I've opened the thing but it will see use elsewhere, I hope.

Hello Karen,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Masterplug Voltage Adaptor: Yes, the MVA1200-MP can work as a replacement for a 5V 0.5A source, because it's a multi-voltage adapter that has a selectable 5V DC setting, but you must ensure the device needs DC, the plug fits, polarity is correct, and you select exactly 5V on the dial, as it provides up to 12V. An incorrect voltage or polarity can damage your device, so double-check the device's label for its exact requirements before plugging it.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Bruno, thank you for your enquiry.
This Masterplug Voltage Adaptor is suitable for devices that have the following power requirements:-
3V, 4.5V, 5V = 1200 mA (max load of device to be powered) 6V, 9V = 1000 mA (max load of device to be powered) 12V = 900 mA (max load of device to be powered).
Please check your Christmas tree for the exact power required to be sure this adaptor is compatible.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hi Lee, thank you for your enquiry.
Our current generation of MVA1200 (our code for this adaptor) has a cable length of:-
1.75m
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hello Lee
Masterplug Voltage Adaptor
The Masterplug Voltage Adaptor (model MVA1200) does not have a long cable like an extension lead. It is a compact plug-in adaptor designed to connect directly to a mains socket, with interchangeable jack connectors for the output. The cable length is essentially the short lead attached to the adaptor for connecting to your device, which is typically around 1 meter or less based on similar Masterplug adaptors.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Browney, thank you for your enquiry.
Please check your Christmas tree lights for the exact power required to be sure this adaptor is compatible.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hi Seec, thank you for your enquiry.
No, as per the bullet points in this listing the maximum possible output is 1,200mA (1.2A) and only then at the lower Voltage settings.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hi Jimmyh, thank you for your enquiry.
No, as previously advised this Masterplug Voltage Adaptor is suitable for devices that have the following power requirements:-
3V, 4.5V, 5V = 1200 mA (max load of device to be powered) 6V, 9V = 1000 mA (max load of device to be powered) 12V = 900 mA (max load of device to be powered).
So your hub would be 277% of the maximum current at this Voltage level.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hi Post, thank you for your enquiry.
That will depend what charging port the Bush tablet has on it and the power requirements to charge.
The tips used to connect a device are visible in the pictures, if none look like the tablet's port then it won't be suitable.
The adaptor is suitable for devices that have the following power requirements:-
3V, 4.5V, 5V = 1200 mA (max load of device to be powered) 6V, 9V = 1000 mA (max load of device to be powered) 12V = 900 mA (max load of device to be powered).
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hi Vicky, thank you for your enquiry.
Yes, it can output up to 1.2A at 5V so shouldn't be overly taxed by your radio.
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hi Jimmy the Wheel, thank you for your enquiry.
So your music centre would be 300% of the maximum current at this Voltage level (plus the closest the adaptor offers is 6V not 6.5V).
Hope this helps and thank you for your purchase.
Hi PG,
Please note the internet suggests the Echo will not be a suitable load for it unfortunately. Due to the Multi Voltage Adaptor can output a maximum of 12V 0.9A.
Thanks for using Q&A.
