Very Practical I bought this on recommendation from a family member. Sound advice. Fits perfectly in my eaves. At first can be tricky to assemble/dissemble but if practised a few times you can get the knack for it. All in all a great buy. Also you can increase the height. 11 February 2014
Had better Sorry to say I have had better ironing boards than this one, it is not easy to put up or take down and for the cost it is of poor quality. 22 January 2014
Handy item What a great idea an ironing board easy to stow away when you have little room.We purchased it for our Grand-daughter for her small room at Uni. She loves it.Thanks Argos 08 October 2013
Not bad but a bit impractical Though it was sturdy and solid, and tall, I found the supporting struts that hold up the ends of the board tended to stop me threading t shirts over the ends of the board... which is how I like to iron. So ended up returning it and going for a standard Brabantia... 07 August 2013
Big Mistake This board, whilst large and sturdy when assembled, is an absolute nightmare to put up and take down. It wouldn't be so bad if you had the option of storing it full size but you don't; you have to totally dismantle it. I wanted a large, steady ironing board that was convenient to use but I'm afraid this certainly isn't it. It is cumbersome, time-consuming and difficult to put up and take down. All in all a very bad buy. 25 July 2013

Answer:
Swing narrow front of ironing board over so that the two legs sit on floor. Raise centre bar piece that is between legs onto hooks and make sure its firmly in place. Lift support bar to fit in hook on underside of board. Do other hook on other half of board. To collapse board raise front of the board, lift supporting bar away from centre of legs and unhook bars from underside of board and all with swing closed.

Hi flossy.

Having looked into this for you, I can advise that the Living Folding Ironing Board has a steam mesh, so is suitable for steam ironing.

Answer:
I've had this ironing board for about six years - I used to order identical covers from a certain company but think they went bust. I am now considering taking my ironing board to the skip as I can't find any covers that fit. How ridiculous that exact replacements cannot be bought. My advice is not buy this ironing as it's not worth the hassle when the cover needs replacing.

Having phoned the 0845 number, I am told Argos do not sell replacement covers for this iron & to maybe try an external company instead!. Disappointing that you cannot get this replacement item when it's an Argos own brand make ironing board!
