Cookworks 3 Bowl Steamer - White. 4.6 5 347 378
Bargain Great item, works great and quickly. Can fit loads in. Bargain at the price too. 27 March 2015
Never eaten so well ! So simple and cooks everything properly, much better than those nasty mixed veg bags for microwaving that you get from the supermarket. Always stick a couple of eggs in at same time as dinner ready for next day. 25 March 2015
3 bowl steamer Needed a replacement steamer as I use mine most days. I like steamers as there is no risk of pans boiling over an switches it's self off using the timer . The top layer is very narrow which limits the type of and amount of veg u can put in. I found the lead too short as it limited where it can be pluged in but does the job. 18 March 2015
really good value for money Bought the cookworks steamer as my previous one stopped working very impressed with it and not expensive so good if your on a budget 10 February 2015
unbeatable for the price Our old one (a very old Hinari) stopped steaming so scanned Argos for a clockwork one, less to go wrong and easier to use, found this one in stock locally, works perfectly well and for the price is unbeatable. Only just got it so longevity is yet to be tested but everything we've bought from Argos has lasted so no reason to think this will be any different. 5 stars for features as can be topped up with water while running with a filler on the side.. 04 February 2015

Cord storage?

2 years, 1 month ago
Item states it has cord storage, but on other questions asked you say this is not correct. If it is not correct why does the website still state this a year after the question was raised- or has this item now been changed to provide cord storage?

Answer:
Hi, thank you for your question.

I have looked into your query and I can advise that the drip tray should be used whenever anything is cooked ?open? in the steamer. It is there to prevent the steamer element coming into contact with the juices from whatever is being steamed. It?s not necessary when cooking rice because the rice is in a bowl, but if cooking other things also then it should be used.

Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
