Felt cheap and didn’t drape well as it was a proper kilt the back fold of material is just a partial piece to make throng do up. Very odd indeed and not at all attractive
This skirt exceeded my expectations. Have purchased 2 other pleated midi skirts that cost way more but are not close to the quality of this one! True to size....very elegant.
I have been looking for a midi black kilt for ages, so was very pleased to see this at TU and at such reasonable price. The skirt is nice, perhaps a tad too long (I am 5'9 and would like the skirt to be midi, just below the knee), it's neither full length nor midi, but works with boots. I guess it would be full lenght on someone shorter. The fabric is a nice, like cotton gabardine, not feeling plasticky, but perhaps bit flimsy to hold the pleat, so when you move or sit, the pleats open completely. Cut is ok, fits nicely around the waist, perhaps the stitched part of the pleat could be a bit longer, hugging the hips, but that is just me- fussy! Good idea would be to get a large pin to stop skirt from opening as you walk (unless you want that!) Overal a nice skirt, great style, brilliant price
I bought this and didn’t expect it to be that good because of the price but the quality is amazing and the kilt is Beautiful so glad I bought this what a bargain . And up to date in the fashion stakes .
Beautiful smart black kilt. Had so many compliments when I wore this. Also bought the grey one as so good. True to size and wonderful length. I’ve worn with boots and will wear with a loafer when weather improves. Great skirt, looks far more expensive than it was.
