Great Electric Blanket
After using this electric blanket for a few weeks now I love it. Very comfortable. Heats up quickly. Connected it to a smart plug so if I'm out I can turn it on and it's ready waiting nice and warm for me after a Winter night out.

Not quite super-king!
This is advertised as fitting a super-king sized bed, but it only fits well widthwise. Our previous electric blanket was fitted and covered the whole mattress, whereas this one does not cover the pillow area. This means that the cable junction is right next to your head. In addition, it takes a long time to heat up even on maximum, so it is hardly worth switching on if you have forgotten to go up one hour beforehand. Once it warms up, it is ok.

I bought this a few weeks ago to replace one of another Brand, which I had bought on Amazon and had to return as “faulty and stained” I have to say, I am delighted with the brand Slumberdown as the blanket heats up quickly and maintains the temperature for either body or feet until the timer turns the blanket off. The only observation I would make is that the blanket does not reach the edge of the length or width of the double bed. I would recommend the Brand and this blanket.

What can I say, full marks for this under blanket. Sheer luxury to be able to heat the bed then leave a setting for the foot area to be on all night. The only problem is that I'm finding it difficult to get out of bed in the morning! Ten out of ten most definitely.

A great buy, worth the money
I love it. Have avoided an electric blanket for many years. Did not like the idea. But colder nights made me change my mind. And so many people were telling me to get one. I paid full price for this (sadly as its reduced by a about a third since!) but I needed it when I needed it so hey ho. The other thing putting me off was the feeling of wires - vague childhood memory from when I stayed with a relative). This blanket is on the pricier end and I'm glad I went for one that has a thicker top. It was SO comfortable. Also, although the whole thing is washable with care, the top bit can be zipped off and washed separately which will be much more straightforward. You heat it up and set your timer before getting in bed - 5 or so minutes, then set it to 0 once you're in bed. It genuinely stayed warm and cosy for the whole set time. My husband said his side didn't but once he'd done it properly instead of doing his own thing, he was hooked to. Worth the money, especially if you are a bit like the princess and the pea.

Comfortable and cosy.
We are very pleased with this underblanket. It is comfy and cosy to sleep on and a good fit for our king size bed. Minor negative points are that the elastics going under the mattress are a bit long even for our deep mattress and would benefit from being adjustable. And the heat settings return to 9 on switching on, and not the previous setting. This means that if you need a quick top up during the night you have to scroll through the settings to get to a low heat.
