About this product
The Argos Home Lavendon Double Bed Frame gives you a comfortable place to rest while making the most of bedroom space. There's a sleek faux leather frame that fits into most bedrooms, and four built-in drawers underneath that store clothes, spare bedding, books or shoes without needing separate storage units. Sprung wooden slats create a supportive base for your mattress, helping it perform properly night after night. It's a double size that sleeps two comfortably, with a sturdy build that holds up to daily use. The black finish works with most bedroom colours and styles.
The storage drawers hold 210 litres in total, so you can keep everyday items close but out of sight. The frame sits 5cm off the floor, allowing you to clean underneath without awkward bending. Siderails sit at a practical height for getting in and out of bed easily. It supports up to 220kg in total weight, keeping things stable and secure through regular use. Self-assembly required, two people recommended for easier handling. Manufacturer's one year guarantee included.
Spice things up in the bedroom with our collection of duvet and pillow sets. Neutral or bold patterns, we've got you covered.

Customers Say
Stylish, sturdy bed with ample storage and good quality materials. Assembly is time-consuming and challenging, especially drawer wheels installation. Color often appears greenish rather than grey. Drawers are spacious but not fixed to frame.

Lots of building but ok
Just bought this, Delivery; Great work from the delivery men theywere super sweet and lovely. Handled with care Item: building It was unfortunately not conveyed how many parts there are to build this. The headboard and side slats are quite straightf orward. But the drawers and railing, you have to build entirely from scratch with planks of wood and my gosh it was hours. Especially since it was a king size so beware of that. We arent yet finished building butso dar everything seems good and the material is quite good quality. Everything true to size

Great bed!
We've only had the bed around a week by were happy with the quality of it. It did take my husband more than 4 hours to put together, but apparently he enjoys this sort of thing. It feels sturdy & looks stylish too.

Fantastic bed
This bed is lovely realy comfy, sturdy and has plenty of storage to. Really simple to put together the hardest but was putting the drawer fronts on but that is because no holes had been started for the screws to go in (which is something argos could do just to nake it slightly easier). Apart from that fantastic really happy with it.

Hi MJ
The headboard on the Home Lavendon 4 Drawer Double Bed Frame - Black is a solid piece which screws to the back of the bed frame. Please see link below for assembly instructions, this shows the positioning of the screwholes which would need to match on a different headboard. Most headboards purchased separately fix onto the bed frames with two batons which are a universal fitting for this type.
