A must have to convert your pc to wireless
Plugged it in the back of my pc in the usb and it worked instantly converting my wired pc to a wireless as our broadband hub had to be moved. I haven't bothered using the cd that came with it. Needs no setting up at all it just gets recognised.

Worked eventually!
Not as easy to set up as suggests on Windows 7. After spending over an hour myself I then spent over 3 hours on live chat and the following day a 'supervisor' rang me and after 50 minutes we got it working. Possibly due to my anti virus software but if that had been suggested initially it might have been a less tedious procedure.

It helps enormously when you find out your PC is not wired up to receive Wi-Fi. It works well although the signal does drop out now and then, but that I think is due to the wi-fi itself.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the TP-Link Archer T3U AC1300 Wireless USB Adapter/Dongle for PC: When you plug the Archer T3U into your PC, it does not automatically connect to your Wi-Fi network. You will need to manually connect your PC to your Wi-Fi network using the following steps:
1. Access Wi-Fi Settings: Go to your computer's Wi-Fi settings. This can usually be found in the system tray or in your network settings menu.
2. Scan for Networks: Your PC will display a list of available Wi-Fi networks. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.
3. Enter Password: If your Wi-Fi network is password-protected, enter the correct password to connect successfully.

Archer T3U supports Mac OS 10.9~10.13. We regret to inform you that our product is unable to provide support for Mac OS drivers from version 10.15 onwards. This is due to a limitation of the Mac OS system, which prevents our product from being able to fully interact with the Mac OS operating system in these versions.

Apologies, this just allows you to connect to Wi-Fi signals, and doesn't allow you to connect a SIM card to allow 4/5G access.
