Reception far better than other indoor aerials
All stations are picked up, unit looks good and cable generous 2.5m
Moved tv. now wall mounted other side of the room, didn’t want aerial wires cluttered about, bought this indoor one it does the job fine, great reception and very happy.
After speaking to our supplier, they have advised: ''The Signal Level Indicator (SLI) shows the current strength of signal received, represented by four different levels of blue LEDs lighting up at the front of the antenna (no white). A strong signal is represented by all blue LEDs lighting up; a weak signal is represented by one LED lighting up.
By moving the antenna's direction and position, you can find the best reception in your room this way.
When plugging in the antenna for the first time to the power supply, the SLI will remain active for 30 seconds and then turn off. If you need to reposition the aerial, simply press the button on the front to reactive the SLI for another 30 seconds.
To find channels please follow the next steps:
Make sure that you have the power cable attached to the power inserter, and make sure it is plugged firmly into any standard 230-240V wall outlet.
The best placement for your antenna depends on many factors. However a general rule of thumb is to position the antenna as high as possible and close to a window and facing the direction of the TV tower. If you are not sure in which direction your TV towers are, please check under www.ofa.com/antenna or visit the website of your service provider in your country.
After setting up your antenna you must perform a channel scan on your TV to see what channels you can receive. Set your tuner mode of the TV to ANTENNA first, then choose CHANNEL SCAN (may be called AUTO PROGRAM, AUTO SCAN, AUTO TUNING or CHANNEL SEARCH in the setup menu of your TV). Please refer to the user manual of your TV for instructions how to perform a channel scan.
In case you are not able to find some channels which should be in your range after the scan has finished, try a different place and/or rotate the dome of tise antenna.
Each time you rotate the antenna or re-position the antenna, you must re-scan for channels on your TV. ''
