Made from a good quality wood that is finished well, it was easy to put up and came with the screws to do so however the double ended screws that attach the finial to the pole were missing. The curtains hang well on the pole which is nice and solid. Good width on pole means it will fit numerous sizes of ring. Overall very good value for money and pleasing to look at.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Wooden Fixed Curtain Pole - 180cm: The wall plugs in the fitting bag are not suitable for plasterboard walls, you would need to change the wall plugs which are suitable for plasterboard.

The distance between the two fixing screws depends on the width of your window. We recommend measuring 15 cm from each side, where the bracket would ideally sit to allow for the curtains to stack back properly.
