Perfect light looks great in my living room where we already have some copper items
Good glass light fitting
It is a good light fitting. It has a nice combination of glass and copper, which makes it look warmer. We fitted a 60W bulb but think it 42W would have been better as the light is very strong and the glass does not reduce the glare, and in fact makes the glare bigger. The glass itself has a few bubbles in it, which I am not sure if it is a good styling effect or a sign of poor quality -- but it seems strong enough.
I bought this for my hallway and am very happy - it looks stylish and perfect balance of classic and modern. It gives off a lovely light with a statement bulb, and while I didn't fit it myself, the handyman who did had no problems and the hang height was easy to adjust.
The small print
All light fittings must be fitted in accordance with wiring regulations from the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and current building regulations. We recommend you employ a qualified electrician and that manufacturer's fitting instructions are followed.
