The worst! Avoid!
We eagerly ordered and booked a 'luxury getaway' using a voucher and buyagift website, envisioning a serene escape. After a gruelling 7-hour drive filled with anticipation, we arrived only to find the hotel closed down and that it had been closed down for quite a period of time. We were stranded without any accommodation in the bustling peak season. Reaching out to BuyaGift proved to be a challenge; they were uncontactable at first, further compounding our frustration. We had to pay for alternative accommodation last minute in peak season leaving us out of pocket When they finally got in touch, their lack of assistance and understanding was very disheartening, no empathy, and they had the cheek to merely reinstate the original worthless voucher that failed us and suggest we book another getaway!! And we are still out of pocket for the alternative accommodation we had to secure. Avoid!

Misleading, and poor value if using for hotels
I bought this Two Night Luxury Getaway voucher for my wife and I to use for a visit to Edinburgh. The Mercure Edinburgh City Centre was advertised in the brochure link in the product Q&As. However, upon looking at the accommodation options online, for a variety of midweek and weekend options, there were no hotels that did not require additional monies added - substantial additional moneys as they seem to have no discounts negotiated with the hotels. So, save yourself, or your intended gift recipients, money and do not buy a Buyagift experience but rather another gift card or cash.
