The instructions say to use it every 2 weeks, so it is best to stick with that.
Thanks for using Argos Q&A
Better to stick to the timeline on the app. There are three stages of hair, so doing it quicker won't make it reduce any faster. I have followed the app and I am very impressed with the hair reduction. The three growth stages, Anagen - active, catagen - resting, telogen - shedding. Be patient and see how it goes over three months, it's worth the wait. It also depends on hair colour and skin type. Good luck. Michelle.
best every other week so you can catch the new growth, hair will slow down its growth
Hi there. Thanks for your question. The Lumea can be used by either sex - it can't be used on your finger though, as the Lumea needs to make full contact with your skin. There are no attachments designed for a small area like the fingers. Hope this helps. Cheers, Max.
The light itself in the Lumea is rated for 250.000 flashes - which approximates to 15 years of use on average. Besides that I can recommend to charge the device every three months - even if the product isn't in use. Concerning the appropriate frequency of the treatments I would recommend using it every two weeks for the first two months. After which you could move on to a full treatment every four weeks.
I hope this answers your question.
No, this is not suitable for under 18,s.
Hope this helps!
No. Suitable for over 18 years old
Philips Lumea Prestige works effectively, easily and safely on a wide variety of hair and skin types. It works on naturally dark blonde, brown and black hair and on skin tones from very white to dark brown. As with other IPL-based treatments, Philips Lumea cannot be used to treat white/grey, light blonde or red hair and is not suitable for very dark skin.
I hope this helps.
Thanks for using Argos Q&A.
Hi Angie. Thanks for reaching out. Our cordless Lumea Prestige can be used corded as well, and is our current top of the line. :) I hope that helps, but please know that my colleagues and I are happy to discuss any additional questions with you. Hi there, thanks for your question. Unfortunately, the Lumea isn't suited to be used on your beard due to different hair type, thicker and coarser hair. I hope that helps, but please know that my colleagues and I are happy to discuss any additional questions with you. You can get in touch via Facebook (philips.to/UKFBMessenger), Twitter (philips.to/UKCareTwitter) or phone (philips.to/UKContact).
No, you do not need to apply any gel.

Hi there, thanks for your question. It shouldn't be a problem to carry this on a plane. However, make sure that you check this with your airline. Hope this helps. Cheers, Will
It should if you pack it safely, shouldn't cause any danger
Hi there Sam, thank you for your question. Please note that the IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment works when the energy of the light is absorbed by melanin (a type of pigment) in the hair. Since light blond, grey and white hair do not contain any or enough melanin, IPL treatment will never work on these hair colors. Red hair contains a different type of melanin, which is also not responsive to IPL.
I hope that helps, but please know that my colleagues and I are happy to discuss any additional questions with you. You can get in touch via Facebook (philips.to/UKFBMessenger), Twitter (philips.to/UKCareTwitter) or phone (philips.to/UKContact).
