Once the barbecue had been finally assembled, it was obvious that it had been manufactured with inferior materials and doubt whether it would last for more than two years. It is common nowadays for almost everything that is manufactured in the far east to be cheaply made and the life span incredibly minimal. Certainly no fault with Argos and a shame that it is difficult from a consumer 's point of view in not being able to purchase more sturdy and substantial merchandise in this day and age.
Great looking BBQ for the money
When assembling, you’ll need a very long cross head screwdriver for 1 of the screws. Literally only 1. It’s a screw that secures the left hand (as you look at it from the front) wing which houses the independent ring burner. I couldn’t work out any other way than using an extremely long screwdriver so for a week it wasn’t very secure and wasn’t sitting at a right angle. Other than that, easy to put together. When putting the casters (wheels) on, try to pair them as only 2 lock. 2 of them don’t.
such a good bbq especially for the price!

Even when your barbecue is covered for its protection, it must be inspected on a regular basis as damp or
condensation can form which may result in damage to the barbecue. It may be necessary to dry the barbecue and the inside of the cover. It is possible for mould to grow on any fat remaining on parts of the barbecue. This should be cleaned off smooth surfaces with hot soapy water.
Any rust that is found that does not come into contact with the food should be treated with a rust inhibitor and painted with barbecue paint or a heat resistant paint. A chrome cleaner may be used on chrome parts if required. To prevent rusting, wipe chrome plated parts with cooking oil after rinsing and drying.
