Although the white board is for spreading bread and making a sandwich you can use the white board for hot food that is why you have the symbol a hot bowl on the board. I use my white board fir taking things out of the microwave it’s not to hot but hot enough for the board to Tolerate the heat.

the white board is for the use in spreading bread and making a sandwich. Always clean the board in hot soapy water.

I used to work in a kitchen and had seperate coloured boards for raw and cooked meat. I would assume that the red one is for raw meat and the white one is for all cooked food. This is to reduce the risk of cross contamination. Raw veg and fish are prepared on the green and blue board respectively.
