Excellent for the price
I bought this tab for my just turned 8 year old and he's in love with it as am I. Pros Excellent sound quality (very loud without it sounding off. Business grade looking Excellent graphics Excellent camera. Cons If it was for me it's a little heavy as I suffer with widespread pain other than that ALL ROUND AMAZING TAB.

Yes this model can be used for calls, texts etc and just to clarify its USB-C with fast charging not USB 2 micro usb like it says in the description

As this is a tablet and has no phone number associated with it, it will not receive or send text messages through the phone system. However, you can use email to send text messages.
