Dog hairs
This machine is not designed for all types of dog hair. It is very good picking up dust and grit from carpet good suction. The issue is that it is useless picking up medium or long coated dog hair. It starts well and then hair wraps around the brush and vac stops working. Needed to stop and cut out of brush during and after vacuuming. It also collects at either end trapping dust and debris and after trying to clear it the roller no longer works. Really disappointed. It should specify that it is only suitable for short coated breeds. It is also very difficult to access roller.

Good hoover for attachments but quite heavy
Great hoover for suction and plenty of attachments. I don’t understand all the reviews about the extendable hose being difficult to attach? As this is very easy to do and great For doing the stairs. I find it quite heavy to manoeuvre compared to the other Vax model I had and in hindsight I probably didn’t need to excessively long cable

Great cleaner - poor instructions
I bought this last month. The instructions for setting up and using could be much clearer so I am still discovering for myself how to operate but it is powerful.

Happy with purchase
Bought this a few weeks ago to replace a Henry that was too heavy to use. This has good suction and is easy to use, swapping from carpet to hard floor. Good length lead but still find it tricky on the stairs.

I highly rate Vax products
Website very easy to navigate. Vacuum delivered by courier next day at no cost! Vacuum, a Vax Air Stretch Pet Max Corded, exactly as described. Model updated since the last one I purchased a number of years ago, generally for the better, though find the new way of attaching the hose to the handle very stiff and a bit awkward to implement - hope it will loosen up over time.

Poor. Clumbsy in design. Extended hose is okay but needs storing. Long cable is great but not retractable so always in the way. Has now packed in after only 4 months. Don't waste your money.

Amazing
Absolutely love my new vax hoover it’s been amazing I’ve used it everyday and so impressed with the dust that it gets out my carpets.. I’m use to a cordless light weight and yes of course it is heavier but not massively so .. I’ve bought this as a back up hoover but have to say I’m reaching for it above the cordless . Vax products are just super good Next day delivery is amazing and I also love the fact they register your new hoover for you . Can’t fault a single thing !!!

Yes. But I believe the brush only works when the slider on the front, which you alter for deep carpets or laminate, is on a particular side, it does not work on both.
