No, the floor head has a button to lower the brush for hard flooring, or keep up for carpets. The brush does not rotate.

I have checked the instructions on how to change the dust bags for you - It is very easy to do - there is a piece of card on the bag that slides it into place. Then you just tuck the bag into the compartment and click the lid back down.

Having spoken with our supplier I can confirm this product is fitted with an 890W motor.

Prior to September 2017, when the EU energy label for vacuum cleaners changed, this model did feature a 1200W motor – which may have caused conflicting answers sorry.

We would recommend that you only use original Miele FJM dustbags with a red collar and original Miele filters.
These are identified by the "ORIGINAL Miele" logo on the packaging. Every packet of original Miele dustbags contains four dustbags, one AirClean exhaust filter and one motor protection
filter, so this helps maintain your vacuum cleaner.
