About this product
This shed is made of galvanised steel for amazing corrosion resistance no matter the weather. The sliding doors give you easy entry and removal of your larger garden items. The pad-lockable handles will help to keep your belongings secure and the appealing 2-tone aesthetic will suit any garden and complement many home exteriors. This shed has easy assembly with pre-cut and pre-drilled parts. Floor panel not included.
Metal sheds don't come with a floor. Metal sheds should be built directly onto a strong, sturdy, flat base and anchored to it with bolts or screws. This base is the floor of your shed. The anchor points are pre-drilled into the panels for your ease. Using these is an integral part of the stability, so the shed needs to be built on a suitable hard level base eg. Concrete, paving slabs or tarmac.
This base is NOT supplied. A shed can't be placed directly onto a base of grass, earth, sand etc. As natural movement will affect the stability, reduce lifespan and cause the doors to warp. We strongly recommend the use of thick gloves when assembling the panels.
This shed is maintenance free. You'll never have to paint it or worry about rust. Its polyester enamel finish will protect it (and everything inside) from the elements for years to come. The shed is finished in an attractive 2-tone green and eggshell that will suit any garden.

The shed looks okay!
If you get your foundation level, the actual construction is easier. Having said that, don’t try to do the job when it’s windy. Definitely a two person job,
The instructions are frustrating!
Looks great once built but be prepared to reread and reexamine the pictures over and over again. They are not clear - some of the text tells you to refer to the picture which is even worse to follow than the written instructions. The people that wrote this guide could learn a thing or two from Ikea’s manuals! I do think that some of the smaller parts could have been put together beforehand to prevent there being so many parts. Power tools are a must!
Very poor design and quality, not really fit for purpose. Nightmare to construct, very poorly made, not water tight plastic handles which could be snapped off in seconds, we haven't even bothered putting a lock on it as the handles are so flimsy. Spend a bit more and get something more substantial.
Yes, the Arrow Apex Metal Garden Shed Dark Grey has sliding doors which can be locked with a padlock.

The screws and bolts need to be inserted from the outside. You can assess for yourself how easy this would be to do in your situation. The instructions on on our web page as a .pdf (second one down is in English).

The screws are from outside. Mine is in a corner, we built it so we could get round then lifted it into the corner. That did take two of us.

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
