Definitely an upgrade!
Replacement for another brand that broke, great for those with disabilities as it can run on a schedule and for when an actual vacuum isn’t possible, it only has one brush as opposed to my previous having two but seems to be working just as well, the self emptying is wonderful as I would often forget to empty the previous one before it would run again, I also enjoy the logic of how it cleans the room edges and then back and forth, you trust that it’s doing a thorough clean then rather than the ad hoc driving about you get from others. It is noisy though, I would liken it to the sound of a lawnmower outside than you can hear through a closed window inside, so for those with sensory hearing you will need your headphones on like me while it’s going, mapping out the home on the first run was a great new function to have, nothing drives me more mad that having the vacuum banging against my office chair while I’m working - the home mapping enables you to “zone off” certain areas so my little area in the from room that I work from is zoned off, no banging of the chair! I’m really pleased with it, you even get a report telling you what rooms it’s cleaned/ level of dirt/ areas it couldnt clean. The functionality is great and I think it will last a long time, just needs to be a bit quieter hence the 4 stars

Brilliant life changer for busy family home
Excellent for busy family, we have hard floors with rugs and this robot is amazing, goes on twice daily and does what you expect a robot hoover to do. It’s helped keep our home tidy and we are a lot more conscious keeping our home tidy so that the robot can work. Easy set up and easy to sort no clean areas. Yes it may miss the odd corner by a mm but what do you expect. We love it. I’ve brought one for upstairs but yet to tell my husband !!!!

OMG I love him. He made a map of my house an estate agent would be proud of. I tell him via the app which rooms to clean. He cleans em then returns to base Gets emptied and sings a song to tell me he’s done 😀

Amazing little robotic vacuum
I bought this to replace an existing robotic vacuum and I must say I am well impressed. It’s easy to set up and vacuums the floor very well. I would recommend in a flash.

Great little bot
Set up instructions said it has to be on hard floor and needs 60cm space around it however I have it on carpet wedged between the wall and the sofa and it works great. Mapping my home took a few attempts and isn't perfect but does the large majority of my floors.

Advanced technology
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shark robot vacuum is fantastic, I did not realise what i was missing! I replaced an older different branded robot vacuum that ive had a few years and wow the technology has changed with this, the robot is really advanced that it uses advanced mapping of your location to precisely know where to go and to clean and where not to go unlike my older one that bounced off an object and turn away missing spots, having pets this makes life so much easier and super convenient and does the job flawlessly so its a must have in my house. The biggest bonus is having the self clean station so I dont need to worry about changing after every clean now, anything to make life easier and simple is a plus from me. The item is well packaged well as with all shark products ive had in the past and the quality of the robot and accessories is top notch.

Fantastic addition to our home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with this robot vacuum. The mapping feature is fantastic. It quickly learns the layout of the house and navigates around rooms very efficiently. Since getting it, my floors stay consistently clean, which is especially helpful with two small kids constantly making messes. I hardly ever use my handheld vacuum anymore because this does such a great job keeping on top of the daily cleaning. The app is also excellent, very easy to connect to the robot and simple to use when managing cleaning and settings. If there was one thing I’d improve, it would be the scheduling options. Currently, you can only set one schedule per day, and it would be great to have the option to add multiple cleaning times. It is a little on the noisy side, but that’s to be expected with a vacuum that has such strong suction. On the plus side, it gets into tight spaces easily and moves around furniture without getting stuck. Overall, it’s been a fantastic addition to our home and makes keeping the floors clean so much easier.

The mapping feature of the application can only handle one floor at a time. It is not compatible with use across multiple floors simultaneously. For example, if you move the robot upstairs and attempt to use the application, the existing map must be deleted and a new one created in order to control the robot through the app. However, the robot can still be controlled without the app by using the buttons located on the top of the robot vacuum.
