Haven't tried the attachments yet, but brings the pile back up on the rugs and cleans well.

Lovely lightweight cleaner
I bought this handheld Dyson last month and I am well pleased with the performance of it. I have had Dysons for years and they just get better all the time, the first two I had were upright ones and cleaned perfectly last two have been hand held which is fantastic for the home and the car

Very pleased with my Dyson V8. It runs smoothly and the battery doesn't take too long to charge. Find it a little stiff to empty, but easy to clean. Have not used the attachments yet.

Poor battery life
I live in a four bedroom bungalow and although the suction is good the battery isn’t powerful enough to complete a good clean and requires recharging.

V8 sweeps clean
Only had a week or so and previously had a dc44 which was good but this V8 outdoes it by far, The comb thingy is a good send stopping practically blocking most hairs , Somehow the floor seems cleaner,. Battery much improved, Maneuverability also good. Attachments only fair, And it’s a shame that there is no light. Otherwise reasonable pleased
