Philips BRE247 Corded Compact Epilator

The perfect gadget for smoother skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Philips Epilator Series 4000 BRE247/00 and overall it’s become my go-to for at-home hair removal. It’s corded (so no battery worries), yet compact enough to grip comfortably in one hand. The LED light helps me spot even fine hairs and I like having two speed settings for sensitive areas vs tougher spots. The massage cap softens what can be an awkward tugging sensation at first. It leaves me smooth for up to four weeks, which saves a lot of time compared to weekly shaving. On the downside, it’s not cordless and sometimes I find certain areas more challenging to reach, but for the price and performance I think it’s a solid starter epilator.

Great Epilator

The epilator is lightweight and easy to use. It can be used on both wet and dry skin which is an added bonus. The multiple speed settings and attachments are great also it comes with a little bag so you can take it with you on holiday / stays away, it is so compact. I would definitely recommend giving this epilator a try.

Great product

The epilator does take a little bit of time to get used to, but is effective at removing hairs from the root. This also comes with a little storage bag to keep all the items together. I would recommend this product.

Excellent hair removal system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The "philips" epilator series 4000 hair removal system is excellent, detachable heads for different hair removal areas. The shaving head leaves a very smooth feel on my skin with no tugging or dry patches, the epilator head can get a little getting used to but with perseverance this does keep hairs away for a longer period, the bikini trimmer head is fabulous on those intimate areas, they also have combs that attach easily to help with any unruly hairs. The massager really does help keep the skin calm especially whilst using the epilator head. Loving the fact its corded with a good length cord really helps keep the tempo of shaving at a good thrust unlike battery shavers. The body of the shaver/epilator is very sturdy, a lovely feminine colour, and is a perfect size meaning it gives a perfect grip whilst in use, a bonus that it has a light built in. The whole system is very easily cleaned with the use of the small brush. My only negative is the pouch is a little flimsy whilst holding all the accessories/attachments, but a problem that can be easily rectified. A super hair removal system with all the accessories/attachments needed for a full female grooming as if salon professional from home. Highly recommended.

Smooth finish

Super impressed!

I was a little worried it would be too painful but I have found it more than manageable and the results are definately worth the minor discomfort. I love that I can also quickly use the razor for touching up areas too. The colour is really cute and it has a nice little bag to keep it all together. I would highly recommend it and I’m looking forward to continuing enjoying long periods of smooth legs!

Easy to use epilator
