Alongside its gorgeous setting, Ghost of Yotei features new mechanics and gameplay improvements. Battle Atsu's opponents as you see fit. With levelled-up dual katanas, odachi, kusarigama and other new weapons, there's no singular way to fight. Build a growing arsenal of weapons worthy of fighting the Yotei Six. Atsu's story goes deeper than defeating her enemies. With each mission, she's on a quest to find healing from a traumatic past. Can she put vengeance aside and rebuild her broken past?
Explore the wild and striking lands around Mount Yotei on foot or horseback. Travel picturesque parts of northern Japan through grasslands, snowy ridges, fields of wildflowers and more. Engage with local settlers, add to your map and discover statues to unlock new skills. Side journeys allow Atsu to discover the rich, beautiful scenery of Japan. Engage in lawless katana combat and battles with adversaries. Build up an exciting arsenal of weapons, including dual katanas.

More than a game... This is an epic.
As a huge fan of Ghost Of Tsushima I was slightly concerned that Ghost Of Yotei would struggle to live up to its high standard. I needn't have worried. Yotei absolutely powers out of the starting gate and doesn't let off for one split second. An absolute feast for the sense, Yotei's densely packed open world never ceases to surprise, entertain and challenge. From the story to the gameplay to the presentation there's nary a flaw to be found. Highly, highly, highly recommended. You'll get much more than your money's worth from this astounding experience.

If you’ve played the first one in the series Ghost of Tsushima then you’ll love this. It doesn’t follow on. It’s a standalone story so you don’t need to have played the first one. It’s a great game.

Beautiful landscapes and great story and gameplay
Great game, even better than Ghost of Tsushima. If you like the first one, you will enjoy this one. However, it's pretty similar in the structure and gameplay to the previous one. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who disliked Ghost of Tsushima.
