I bought this for the family. They have used it nearly everyday and have found the recipe book really helpful. The ice cream produced tastes great and they have been able to make dairy free products . A great success!

Exactly what we wanted and at a great price
I've only had this Creami Swirl a short while and have only made 1 tub of ice-cream (chocolate soft-serve) so far, but the results were exactly what we were looking for - soft, creamy, smooth, and not too chocolatey (my wife's requirement, not mine). The setup was a bit fiddly, and the process from start to finish was somewhat complicated, but I'm sure with repeated use we wil get the hang of it. The price at Argos was well below anything else we'd seen, so for an expensive kitchen appliance it was quite a bargain. Lots of different setting to choose from, and we look forward to trying many more recipes!

Excellent addition to the kitchen
The Ninja Swirl is an excellent piece of machinery, bought for the children as they love ice cream, it definitely makes that, their favourite is the soft swirl, thought it was rather noisy though, so much so l left the kitchen whilst they were making it. Rather costly, but bought it when reduced with a further 15% off, so cannot really grumble. Another Ninja product that is well recommended, my kitchen is full of their products.

This is exactly what I was hoping for, easy to use and clean and quite compact. The only negative comment I have is that the pots are quite small and unless you buy extra ones and have a freezer full of these pots you are very limited to how many ice creams /milkshakes you can make.

The Ninja NC701UK is designed primarily for frozen desserts like ice cream, gelato, sorbet, frozen yoghurt, milkshakes, and soft‑serve, and it doesn't have a Smoothie option.
No, it doesn't have a refrigerator, and the mix has to stay in the freezer for 24 hours before use.
Depending on the bundle, the Ninja Swirl comes with 2 or 4 480ml tubes.

Yes, the NC701UK can make ice cream with goat milk. The Swirl processes dairy and dairy alternative bases into ice cream or soft serve. Freeze the base in the Swirl pint for at least 24 hours, then run Ice Cream or Soft Serve. For best texture use a full fat base with added sugar as guided for similar dairy recipes.
Yes, you can make a coffee style frappe using the Milkshake program. For a quick version add scoops of coffee ice cream and milk to the Swirl Tub, then run Milkshake. The unit can also process a frozen coffee base after you freeze it in the tub for at least 24 hours, then run Milkshake to thin to a sippable texture. It is not a blender and cannot crush ice cubes or make smoothies from ice and liquid. For a classic iced coffee frappe with ice use a Ninja blender instead.
You supply your own mix-in ingredients, there’s no proprietary powder or cartridge. To use the Swirl by CREAMi NC701UK you must choose a liquid base (dairy or non-dairy milk, yogurt or even juice) plus sweetener and flavorings of your choice, then pour up to 480 ml of your mixture into one of the freezer tubs and freeze for 24 hours, lock the frozen pint into the machine, select your program and let the Creamerizer paddle spin it into soft serve or scoopable ice cream.
If you make more ice cream than needed, you can definitely store it in the freezer. However, since temperature can impact the consistency of the preparation, we recommend reprocessing it before attempting to use it.
With the Ninja Creami Swirl, it is possible to make 4 cones per tub.
