Thank you for your recent enquiry. The units do have the same entry point options or the power and water supplies but are built on different backplate and so will have slightly different shape & DIMS. New fixing points will need to be made. If you change for the same kw rating then the performance will be the same. Best Regards, Karl.
Thank you for your recent enquiry. The Zante and Zante 4 units despite their similar names are built on a different Back plate and so some changes to the installation will be required. Best Regards, Karl.
This will have the same fittings as a Zante 3 model.
Thanks for using Argos Q&A
Thank you for your recent enquiry. Although the unit is a slightly different shape and as such will require additional fixing points the entry / connection points for the power and water supplies should match up for you. Regards, Karl.
Thank you for your recent enquiry. The Zante 4 is an Electric shower and so the installation to that of a Mixer will be different. Essentially you will require a mains cold water supply ( 1 Bar running pressure @ 8 ltres per min ) and you would also require a mains power supply from the Consumer Unit. The Zante shower will then use only cold water and heat instantaneously as the water passes through the shower. I hope that this information is of help. Regards, Karl.
Thank you for your recent enquiry. The unit will be a different shape and size and new fixing points will be required . The unit will share the same entry points but water connection will now be in a horizontal orientation rather than vertical. Best Regards, Karl.
The first slight complication is that there have been two versions of the Marbella unit.
Version 2 has a power on indicator and a low pressure indicator. Also a power selector dial, a temperature control dial and a start/stop button.
Version 1 has a power selector dial and a temperature control dial.
If you have the Version 2 then this should be fairly straight forward with the units sharing the same entry and connection points. If it is the original version that you have, though, the terminal block for the power connection will be on the opposite side, water connection will be in the same area but in a different orientation.
I note that both are 8.5kw so on the logic the electrical installation was correct for the original installation as we are remaining with 8.5kw this should be in order.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Argos Q + A.
Yes there are a few entry ports for the electrics and the water
Thank you for your recent enquiry. The units are similar with regards to the power supply connection. The water remains in the bottom r/ h corner as viewed from the front but till be in a different orientation so a minor change to the final plumbing connection will be required. I hope that this information is of help.. Best Regards, Karl.
Thank you for your recent enquiry. The Zante 4 product would have the terminal block on the opposite side of the unit so may create a potential issue. The Madrid 2 unit will have the same entry point options as the original Zante , the back plate will differ slightly in shape though. I hope that this information is of help. Regards, Karl.
