Works better than my old iron
The lead is longer than my old iron so I don't have to use extension lead. The press button and colour coded heat control is more precise and easier than the old dial method. It seems to heat up quickly and gives adequate steam, with the option of extra steam and spray if required. The filling 'jug' is tiny so I'm using my measuring jug. Special jug not necessary as the filling hole isn't too small.

Yes for sure you can.
However if you live in an area where the water is hard you may want to use a filter to help reduce the build up of limescale which will help the iron last longer

Yes. You can select no steam and dry iron with this Russell Hobbs 22861 Colour Control Ultra Steam Iron. You should empty the water reservoir before dry ironing.
