About this product
Control light and mood with this wooden Venetian blind featuring tilt control, letting you adjust slats with a simple wand turn to let in as much or as little daylight as needed. Crafted from basswood, a strong, durable wood that resists warping in heat or moisture, it's ideal for kitchens, bathrooms or sunny spots. The blind includes all fixtures for installation and fits inside or outside your window recess or on the wall. For child safety and compliance, always fit P clips or cleats to keep cords secure and out of reach.
The automatic safety lock keeps the blind secure when it's in position, while the removable slats make cleaning and maintenance straightforward when needed. It's wipe clean, so a quick wipe with blind cleaner keeps it looking fresh without any fuss. The tilt control wand gives you precise adjustment over light levels throughout the day, whether you're creating a cosy atmosphere for a film or waking up gently to morning sun. This blind is tested and safe to the 2014 blind safety standards BS EN 13120, and it comes with a one-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Fine product, terrible packaging.
The shutter blinds came damaged twice with the first time being large cracks on the blind and wooden panel cover and the second time being scuffs over multiple areas. Although this is likely due to the delivery company, the packaging is too thin for this type of product.

Great blind but handle too short!!
The blind is lovely, strong, sturdy. and looks great! The reason that I only gave 4 š is because the handle is very short and when I need to twiddle it to open the blind, I have to stretch up and strain my back. Another 6 inches on the handle would be perfect and would then deserve 5 š.

Looks good
Fitted easily, looks really good. Only one downside the black tilt rod is very short and is difficult to twist from a comfortable position. The blind is situated on the landing window

Value for Money
Product review - the blinds are great value for the price and really easy to adjust the length - the width options seem to be tailored to victorian sized windows which is great as they fit the frames in my home nicely. and very easy to install if you own a cordless drill & good drill bits, depending on what you are fixing too & they look great! Delivery Review - arrived super fast - quicker than estimated

Hello Winnie,
The supplier has advised the following for the Little Black Book Basswood Warm Grey Venetian Blind - 180cm:
"1. The height: When the blind is fully lowered, there should be no slats overlapping at the bottom of the blind. If overlapping occurs you can remove slats to allow a custom fit.
2. Hold the blind at the desired location and allow it to fully lower. In the open position the slats should be approximately 4.5cm apart.
3. Lay blind on a flat surface and remove the caps on the bottom end slat. The caps are attached to the lift cords.
4. Pull the lift cord from the bottom end slat to the ladder rung.
5. Count the number of slats you wish to remove. Pull lift cord from these slats to allow them to slide out of the ladder rung.
6. Remember to allow for the bottom end slat to be reinserted. Reinsert the lift cord through the cap holes and then insert back through the top and the caps.
7. Knot lift cord directly beneath caps and cut off excess cord. Allow one extra rung and cut off excess ladder, now tuck remaining ladder into the bottom end slat cap holes. Replace caps.
8. After blind is shortened, you may wish to adjust the pull cord length, this is best done where the cords enter the plastic safety device. Gently pull the cords apart just above the device to open and release the cords. Shorten each cord and re-knot at the end of each cord before re-assembling."
Thank you for using Q&A.
