Easy to use, great mixer...
A sturdy little mixer
Early days yet but so far, so good. Not tried all the different functions yet.
Very nice design and good quality.
Whilst this electric hand mixer is good for making cake mixes, and bread dough, it is not ideal for blending soup.
Here are some blenders:

The SmartMix Electric Hand Mixer is for mixing things together for example: Cake batter, whisking cream etc. It is not suitable for blending, you would need a Blender, take a look at this:
Hope this helps?

I used the dough hooks this morning to make bread. If you use it for 5 minutes on speed 1 then take it to speed 3 for 10 minutes it works perfect. So in total it works without any shut offs for 15 minutes.
Again yesterday I made ice cream at speed 1 for 10 minutes to whip up the double cream (put the beaters in the freezer for minimum 30 minutes and it whips up quickly) then I added the condensed milk and vanilla extract and set the speed to 3 for 10 minutes and the ice cream was perfect.
Even though we can get 500 watts from the product I personally would only go up to speed 3 which I believe is 300 watts. If you think about it a Kitchen Aid only goes up to 300 watts so for the price and low noise I personally find this brand far superior than what people actually think.

According to the manual the maximum operating time with the dough hooks is 5 minutes and with the whisks is 15 minutes.

I would refer you to check the manufacturers instructions, but do bear in mind this mixer has a much larger motor than other makes. You are able to control the speed of the mixer very easily using your thumb to increase or decrease the speed on the speed wheel on the top of the mixer. It is powerful and suits my needs.
