Aesthetically pleasing, not weather proof
The summerhouse wasn't to difficult to assemble, by someone who is very handy with diy skills. however there are huge gaps between the panels, big gaps. The doors also have a gap between them. Although it's a 'summerhouse' I'd like it to be comfortable for sitting in outwith the two weeks of summer we have. So there is extra cost of cladding to be considered. One window different from Others It looks great in my garden, but for the price I'd expected a better finish
Meme, good morning and thank you for the question. This 2 areas to focus on are the roof and the base the summerhouse will sit on. Roof is felted and therefore will need at least an annual inspection to ensure that the felt is still complete with no cuts, holes etc plus re-felting is recommended every 2-3 years as the sunlight will breakdown the protective covering. In terms of the base it needs to be no larger than the summerhouse foot print to stop water collecting and leading to moisture penetration through osmosis.

Gonzalez, good afternoon. The walls are made from pressure treated overlap board produced from English softwood timber. The boards are designed to overlap which allows any moisture to run down the outside maintaining a dry interior.
