About this product
This great value British 8' x 6' shed is distinguished from many of its competitors because of the ease of access given by the wide 136cm/4' 6" double doors and the 162cm/ 5' 3" eaves height. Only high grade slow grown timber is used in Homewood overlap buildings and the framing is strong 34mm square pine. A solid sheet osb floor is provided. The door is secured by a Hasp and Staple catch. There are no windows in this model. Unfortunately we are unable to deliver this product to Northern Ireland.
This building comes complete with a floor. To maintain the guarantee we strongly recommend the shed to be assembled on a flat and level foundation such as concrete, paving slabs or a proprietry building base. This foundation is not included, just the floor.
The building has a basecoat treatment ready for topcoating by the customer immediately on assembly. The top coat may be a stain or other good quality exterior wood paint. We recommend annual re treatement of the building to maintain the anti-rot guarantee and to keep it strong and weatherproof.

Cheap and cheerful.
Overall I'm pleased with the quality and size. Doors were not quite 'square' but nothing a little belt sander couldn't sort. Flooring needed little bit of "beefing up" as I didn't feel at though it would withstand the weight of my tools and bikes ect. But in relation with price. Really happy
My shed has more holes than Swiss cheese
I’ve erected several sheds over the years but none took as long as this one to build. I think it’s due to the shed being delivered in smaller sections making it easier for the delivery man to carry. The wood unfortunately is really thin and coupled with lots of knots with cracks it makes it very leaky. I had to go around the whole shed and fill the cracks with glue, there must have been about 100 knots! A couple of slats were cracked the whole length of the shed. Not buying one of these again.
Good quality product
Good quality shed for the money , arrived very quick and two people easy assembly needed extra Batton for strengthening sides and back but overall really happy with it
The shed is waterproof when treated. The shed is treated with a basecoat ready for top coating.

This shed is supplied with floor panels for the building however the building would need to be assembled on a hard standing base area such as concrete or paving slabs.
I hope this helps. Thanks for using Argos Q&A

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
