We got the Hive & purchased the sensors to reduce the time that the lobby & landing lights are on & they work very well. Link sensor to light & the set duration & the light comes on when you go into the hall or landing.
Easy to install works fine
Quick and simple to install if you already have hive set up and can link it with actions such as turning all the lights on when triggered etc.
Really easy to use and setup.
I was nervous at first as the door I wanted to put it on was not flush, so one of the sensors will be slightly raised. I was not sure if it would work. Well there was nothing to worry about. The system works no bother and was really really easy to set up. Within 5 mins of opening the box I had the sensor turning on my lights when the door opens. Love it!!!! Defo recommend!!!!
Yes, this Hive Window and Door Sensor works with Alexa.
Hope this helps.

One part of the sensor goes on the door and the other part goes on the frame.
Arrange both parts so that the marked strips are aligned. (If you look closely on the pictures these are shown as horizontal lines above the two indicator lights on main body).
