It is a lovely bed it looks good Was easy to build but took 2 people s couple of hours I only rated it at 3 star because it has a design fault if you sit on the bottom of the bed the mattress sinks in the frame making we solved that by putting some wood at the base under the mattress problem solved
Took hubs about 2hrs to assemble. Lovely and comfortable. It does seem as if it could be too heavy when you lift it to go in the space saver part.
Very easy to assemble, good quality, very pleased with the bed.
It is a mixture of both wood and metal. Please see the following image: https://media.4rgos.it/i/Argos/6222301_R_Z002...

The bed is both wood and metal the frame that lifts to reveal the storage area is metal with wooden slats and the base frame, sides and headboard appears to be a wooden frame upholstered in the grey fabric. It's a great bed for the price. We have the super king which our mattress fits perfectly having been bought recently whilst we still had the old base. Hope this answer helps.

The headboard can not be removed from the Argos Home Eros Ottoman bed as this forms part of the frame.

Hi, no I don’t think so as the headboard forms part of the base and the side panels are attached to it. I’ve attached a photo of the instructions.
