Plug n play it's that easy
Can't fault this product, it was as easy as plug in the network cables, connect to the power sockets, router and TV. That was it. I connect my smart TV to the router with these and the TV accesses internet like it has a router built in. Very please with purchase.
Depends on your property
Bought this to boost the wifi signal in my home. Unfortunately it only boosts one wired devices and only marginally at that. You have a traffic light system and it only ever got to amber, so was no good for the kids laptops. The research I did suggested this was the best option for me but in fact if you want to boost the signal for a range of devices you need a wifi range extender. Presumably would work if bought for the correct purposes but quite pricey to boost just one device
Neither, these are Gigabit Powerline units only and do not have wireless connectivity
We list a combined 10/100 fast Ethernet powerline and 2.4Ghz wireless access point here:

They mean that you can still use the plug as a power socket. It has a regular socket on the front so the power passes through.

Hi Jan, in this context it simply means that it provides a 3 pin socket- you can plug something else into it so it doesn't take up a mains socket. Compare to the model without pass through by searching 669/5749. Thanks for using Argos Q + A.

Hello, this uses Ethernet only. I suggest you search Argos for the following codes: 483/1835, 558/5575, 820/2329. All 3 of these products have a wireless hotspot with a powerline backhaul to the router. Thanks for using Argos Q + A.
