I bought this because I needed background music whilst tiling and grouting the downstairs Loo / Shower Room. I have several Cassette Tapes and C D's and also enjoy some radio programs so this item is really fit for purpose. The fact that it can be used with batteries and is light weight makes it completely portable and can be used anywhere. My only suggestion is, how about fitted rechargeable with internal charger? The price was reasonable, quality good and ease of ordering / purchasing from my home computer made it a winner. I collected it from my local store and back home quickly.

A cute looking radio, that also plays cd's. Works perfectly. Really good sound, and simple to use. Hardly takes any work space, easy to put anywhere, due to its very small size. We think the radio is š cool. And cheap. A bargain.

My purchase replaced a similar very old earlier boom box and this one is just as good as my last one. For listening to the radio, playing my cds and retro two track cassettes it does the job well. Also versatile running off the mains supply and out and about on batteries.
