About this product
The YardMaster 8 x 6ft Shiplap metal shed offers you a sturdy outside space that's ideal for garden storage or doing DIY. Designed for comfortable use, the shed is extra tall (223cm max internal height) meaning you won't have to crouch or stoop. 2 sliding lockable doors give you great access to the inside, wide enough when both open (102cm) to fit a lawnmower or wheelbarrow through. 2 translucent roof panels let you see contents better in daylight. Its subtle grey and taupe colouring means that it'll suit any garden and look great for years.
Metal sheds don't come with a floor. They should be built directly onto a strong, level base such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac, then anchored to it using the anchor fixings provided. This base is the floor of your shed. The anchor points are pre-drilled for your ease. Using these is an integral part of the shed's stability. This base is not supplied. An anchor kit is included.
Do not place directly onto a base of grass, earth, sand etc. As natural movement will affect the stability, reduce lifespan and cause the doors to warp. 2 people are required for assembly and we strongly recommend you use thick gloves when assembling the panels.
Once built, this YardMaster shed requires zero maintenance or further treatments. Its hot dipped galvanised steel construction makes it durable and weather resistant. This means you'll never have to paint it or worry about rot or rust. It comes with a 15-year UK manufacturer's anti-rust guarantee.

Cheap,complicated and leaks
What can I say?????. Very flimsy when building the shed but when it’s together it’s not too bad. But then building it is VERY complicated for a novice, there are NO readable instructions everything is by pictures. It took me and a friend 2 whole days to build when we finally finished it leaked everywhere and still does. Not secure at all the doors can be prized open with ease. All in all a complete waste of money !!!!!!!!
Brilliant water tight shed!
The shed is brilliant , instructions are ok if you take your time and think about it... built on my own so no need for two people ! Great product very happy!
Great sturdy shed, with clean lines
Shed arrives flat packed in two large boxes and comes with instructions. I put the shed on a concrete foundation. You have to ensure teh shed base is completly square before screwing it down with four bolts. This was very easy to do, but top tip put some silicon sealant below it, not mentioned in instructions, as it is hard to seal later. Despite this the construction of the shed was relatively straight-forward, it does need a second person, so do not try it on your own.
I would advise that this Yardmaster Extra Tall Metal Shiplap Shed - 8 x 6 ft has 6 ft tall side walls and is 7 ft tall at the roof apex.

I have checked this with the supplier - they state 8ft refers to the roof measurement and the 7.5ft refers to the base rails of the shed
I hope this helps

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
