My speaker looks amazing and with good sound
This speaker is excellent with good sound quality also i would recommend downloading the bose connect app on play store
Great speaker horrendous battery life
Had this for a couple of months battery didn't even last an hour after the last charge. Apart from that the speaker is great but i'm seriously unhappy with the battery quality. The most I've had out of it is about 4 hours. It's a bit of a scam that battery life can't be rated below. Purely because the battery life is so poor it really ruins the portability so I have to mark this as poor overall. I have owned much cheaper speakers in the past that were nowhere near as poor.
Great quality sound
Fab, Bose well done ! Highly recommend
I have looked into this for you.

So I'm answering my own question here! Initially, I couldn't get it to work at all, but you have to switch from bluetooth to AUX. In order to use a cable to connect my iPod nano I had to find the manual on the Bose website. The advice is this and it worked!:
The AUX connector accepts a 3.5 mm stereo cable plug (not provided). Using a 3.5 mm stereo cable, connect your mobile device to the AUX connector on your speaker. Press the ‘on’ button on your speaker. Press arrow button next to blue tooth button. The Input indicator glows white. Play the iPod (but don’t have the volume up high). This worked for me.

I can confirm that you can indeed use your 3.5mm jack to use the iPod nano to this speaker.
I hope this helps :)
