More powerful than it looks!
This modem was easy to set up from a web page on laptop and can cope with both ordinary and fiber broadband. It also has the ability to switch on and off WiFi to specific devices to keep the little kids screen time controlled without arguments... Its decently fast without being the best and the WiFi reach through the house is ok. A good back up router and good for smaller homes. Finally if broadband breaks down this modem can also take a USB 3g/4g dongle and turn that into WiFi for the house!
Easy to set up router with improved range
Bought this router for my Dad. It was very easy to set up and to link to his tablet. It’s improved his ability to connect and the quality of his picture. Would recommend this one.
Good but watch set up
This is a very good universal replacement However, no-one tells you that you have to contact your broadband provider to get an IP address. This product will not work when you just set it up ! Even though it appears to be ok with all the green lights on. Also, the quality of the splitter is questionable. One technical expert suggested the one provided isn't upto much
Yes, this will work with any Openreach Exchange (ADSL/VDSL) based Broadband provider

This device can indeed be used as an access point, although its primary purpose is as a router.
