About this product
Originally available in 5-6 colours, in both the table and floor lamp, Bobby was first introduced in early 2000. Evolving over the years, it has been multi coloured, fluorescent - there was even a 3 headed version. Now, in bright pillarbox red, the Bobby table desk lamp looks as new and contemporary as it did in its noughties heyday.

Great lamp
Brilliant red lamp, perfect for our lounge. We wanted a good lamp to have near our record player, fab colour and articulation.

Not 52 cm as described
It's a great lamp in itself and I already have other Bobby lamps as I like the style and switch on the base rather than inline but.... this one I returned as I bought it specifically for the stated taller height of 52cm, but it was no bigger than 'ordinary' Bobby lamps! So, a nice lamp but not as described and therefore no use to me. Odd.

Perfect
I bought this a week ago and it is just what I wanted for my makeup/ beauty table. Only one gripe and that is I wanted pink, only one colour, still better than if it was green brown or yellow lol . The bulb for it takes up to 9w, mine from Argos is 7 watt and megga bright. It has saved me spending loads on bulbs Hollywood mirrors etc. May get another one for the other side as the recess is dark and main light in middle of my room. X

The supplier has advised the following for the 60 Bobby 52cm Metal Table Lamp - Red:
“ The lampshade can only face forward in the same direction as the switch at the base, the joint can only adjust the position.
So you can’t turn the light backwards as cable exit direction so that it shines upwards or backwards pointing up onto a wall. ”
