You don't say which recipe you are following. but they have all worked for me. So,,,, Sounds like it could be a yeast problem. Perhaps try again with a good yeast (Argos won't let me say where I get mine from). Check you have set the correct program for the recipe. Check that the dough has risen via the window and that the cooking cycle comes on (the bread maker gets warm) leave the bread maker alone and vibration free for the whole timing cycle. and let it cool slightly before trying to get the bread out. Hagar, is correct the Breadmaker will mix all the ingredients for you, but you have to remove the dough, shape the buns & then place them back in the oven too bake.
