About this product
If you are looking for a compact and secure shed to store away gardening equipment, the Forest Overlap Dip Treated 6x4 Apex Garden Shed with No Windows is an excellent option. Made from overlap construction to aid water run-off and extend longevity. The door has been braced with strong double Z framing for extra strength and has secure hidden hinges for added security. Made in the UK with FSC certified timber from sustainable sources.
Wooden sheds, like this one, come supplied with a floor but still need to be built on a strong, level base such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac. This base is not supplied. Do not place directly onto a base of grass, sand, earth etc. As natural movement will affect stability, reduce lifespan, cause the door(s) to warp and encourage rot.
This wooden garden shed's main feature is the lack of windows to make sure your belongings are not on show, keeping them secure.
The door features a strong Z frame to give it added strength and the hidden hinges provide extra security for the workshop. The door can also be secured with an additional padlock (not included) through the hasp and staple fastening.

I know this shed was quite cheap, My husband put it together no problem, some of the panels were bowed, it has holes in it and the floor is weak, I feel the quality is rubbish not sure how many winters it will last
Neat Little Shed
This is a good little shed at a reasonable price; it's not precise engineering but more like rough carpentry. Parts don't necessarily fit together exactly as they should but with a little help you can easily manage to put it together. The instructions say two man operation, I did it alone but wouldn't recommend that, two's good but maybe three is better. Try to erect when it's dry and calm, even a little breeze isn't much fun when you're fitting the roof!
Worst made shed ever
This shed was simple to put up but it is literally the worst quality ever put it up and all went together well. When it came to attaching the lock the screws provided split the wood as the wood quality is so poor the door is solid why is the rest of the shed not the same. Next morning woke up and lots of cracks appeared in the wood only on the front panel where door is defo will never purchase a shed from argos ever again not worth the price avoid at all cost
Good Afternoon, thank you for your recent enquiry. (1) Installation can be added, to the order, at the time of purchase and the installation will be carried out by Servico, a separate company, that specialises in this task. (2) The base we provide is a wooden structure with metal spikes, the ground would need to be cleared of all debris/weeds etc. prior to the base being installed. If the item is being installed on to a decked area, or concrete /slabbed area, no base is necessary, as the shed is provided with an integrated floor with pressure treated bearers. These bearers will raise the shed slightly and a separate base will not be necessary.

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
