About this product
The Overlap Dip Treated 6x4 Apex Garden Shed from Forest is an excellent option for gardens where space is at a premium, perfect for storing garden tools and equipment. Features include a polycarbonate glazed window, braced single door with secure hidden hinges and black sand roof felt. The overlap construction also aids rain run-off. Made in the UK with FSC certified timber from sustainable sources.
Wooden sheds, like this one, come supplied with a floor but still need to be built on a strong, level base such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac. This base is not supplied. Do not place directly onto a base of grass, sand, earth etc. As natural movement will affect stability, reduce lifespan, cause the door(s) to warp and encourage rot.
The door features a strong Z frame to give it added strength and the hidden hinges provide extra security for the workshop. The door can also be secured with an additional padlock (not included) through the hasp and staple fastening.
The fixed window is glazed with strong, shatter-proof polycarbonate that won't become brittle or yellow over time. It is secured with security screws that cannot be unscrewed once fixed, giving added security.

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
