About this product
The Overlap Dip Treated 8x6 Apex Garden Shed from Forest is a great storage solution for all types of gardening equipment and the two fixed polycarbonate glazed windows let in plenty of light. The door of this shed can be hung either side of the opening and has been braced with strong double Z framing to give it extra strength. The overlapping boards also aid rain water run-off. Made in the UK with FSC certified timber from sustainable sources.
Wooden sheds, like this one, come supplied with a floor but still need to be built on a strong, level base such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac. This base is not supplied. Do not place directly onto a base of grass, sand, earth etc. As natural movement will affect stability, reduce lifespan, cause the door(s) to warp and encourage rot.
The two windows are fitted with security screws that don't come unscrewed once fixed giving added security. They are glazed using shatter-proof polycarbonate glazing, which will not become yellow or brittle over time.
The door features a strong Z frame to give it added strength and the hidden hinges provide extra security for the shed. The door can also be secured with an additional padlock (not included) through the hasp and staple fastening.

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
