I have replaced the cheap hoover I bought 5 years ago which has giving me too many headaches for this V11 and first thing I noticed is the suction power is amazing plus the running time is longer than I was expected so at the moment I cannot be happier. Highly recommend!

Looked at a high specified hand held from a reputable mfr but plumped for Dyson in the end - glad I did and worth every penny. The only reason why not 5 stars is the trigger mechanism which needs to be depressed physically to operate as opposed to on/off switch

A very effective battery powered vacuum cleaner
This is a really good vacuum cleaner. The easily controllable settings allow the machine suction levels to be adjusted to match the floor or carpets. The dust collector is cleverly designed to make it easy to empty, albeit the pipe to the head must first be removed. That is easy to do and the attachments click into place. We have added the Dyson ‘elbow’ to the pipe and that makes it very easy to clean under furniture albeit it adds to the weight of a rather heavy machine; no surprise given its power. However, the pistol grip makes it easy to control. It would be even better if LEDs were to be added to the vacuum head.

Excellent upgrade from previous V6 model. Great battery life and charge left indicator. Good suction on normal setting really good on boost mode. Very easy to empty bin. Overall very pleased with purchase.

Disaster from Dyson
Bought 2 weeks ago. Wouldn’t charge. Sent new body and cyclone. Still won’t charge. New click in battery being sent. Meanwhile no cleaner and husband undergoing chemo losing all body hair. Need cleaner that works to suck up all hair in bed etc Help!!!

Great all rounder vacuum.
This is my second Dyson my first bought in the early 2000 (and still working). Love this V11 and the best thing about it, not including that it’s more powerful, it’s the new way to empty the bin bit. It is so smooth and easy and not cack handed at all. Also love the amount of free attachments I got with it.

Bought this as we were struggling to use our heavy traditional vacuum. It’s so convenient, Suction is better than expected. Only problem is separating the pipe from the dust bucket, it’s so difficult it takes two of us. We asked our daughter to do it as we thought we may not be doing it correctly and she also struggled, she has had a Dyson for some time now.

The Dyson V11 Extra Cordless Vacuum Cleaner doesn't have a physical button or slider to switch between hard floors and carpets. Instead, it uses cleaning modes and intelligent suction adjustment to adapt to different surfaces.
You can switch modes by pressing the button below the LCD screen on the back of the vacuum.
