Perfect addition to my garden tools.
A bit fiddly to put together but takes the top off the lawn really well. Not hard to push along. I have a long garden with some lumps and bumps and it rolls over it well. If it jams from a stick or something , be careful and remember the blades turn if you move when pulling them out ! The basket is utterly pointless as it all falls out as you go , but can shield your feet a little ! A great little mower with out the hassle of fuel or batteries.

I bought this a month ago to cut a small grass area. The collection bag is not ideal because clippings fly past it. But it cuts the grass perfectly with no electric cables, waiting for a battery to recharge or having to buy fuel. It is small and light and gives you a small work out pushing it. Ideal for price on a small patch of grass.

Not suitable for uneven lawns
It might be a good fit for a small, very straight and well maintained lawn but our lawn is large and quite bumpy and I would not recommend this mower for that. Firstly the collection basket is quite useless as it fits in very little, still allows the grass cuts to fly everywhere and keps falling off on any bumps. Secondly, because of the uneven garden, I found trying to cut the grass to be a proper workout. It took me 3 days going over the same patches backwards and forwards in different directions. And the lawn still looks uneven and nowhere near as good as it looks when done with an electric mower. Overall I'm not happy with thus mower.

Great Mower
Absolutely chuffed with this mower. Perfect for my small garden, I enjoy using it too and for a great price. The basket doesn't capture all of the grass but I'm still happy with it.

The instruction manual (pg 7) states: ''Keep cylinder blades sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting blades with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.''

Try adjusting blade, two lock nuts either side and turn anti clockwise and blade will run free, go on YouTube to se how to adjust blade, doesnt matter its not your lawnmower same principle, just put in cylinder blade adjustment for lawnmower

The McGregor 30cm Wide Cylinder Lawnmower has an adjustable cutting height range of 1.8 cm to 3.8 cm (i.e., 18 mm to 38 mm) Unfortunately, this means that even at its lowest factory setting, it won't reach the 4–5 mm height typically required for a putting green.
