Hello GARY,
After speaking with our supplier, they have advised: 'On this particular control, the pre-heat lasts indefinitely.
As heat is subjective, it is designed for the occupier of the bed to select how long the blanket needs to be on for, for it to be comfortable for them, before getting into bed and selecting an All Night Use setting to keep them warm all through the night.
