The Freesat box offers great picture quality and easy setup, making it a solid alternative to Sky with no monthly fees. However, some users find the remote clunky and the interface slow.

Not up to hype.
Had to return, it was purchased to give me better TV access to internet programs. It didn't connect although we have a good fibe connection. On searching discovered this is a problem, they suggest wired connection, not possible when router is not even in the same room. I'll add, wireless connection is fine in lounge, TV connects, phones connect, tablet connects, even when all the family are here.

Great Humax Replacement
Bought to replace a Humax box which had failed. Easy to set up, and all required features available.

Good purchase
This replaced my old Humax Freesat box and I'm still assessing its features and terminology. So far, it seems absolutely fine. A good purchase at an attractive price.

Records well
Works well remote takes a bit of getting used to. Downside is that the voice goes out of sink but can be resolved by turning of & restarting

Useful for recording
I got this a few months ago and it has been useful to record programmes to watch later. The only issue with recording is the fiddly nature of Freesat format. Not as easy for instance compared with Virgin.

Hi Madaunth,
Freesat Recordable 1TB 4K TV Box
Yes, you can use the List option on the remote to search channels by genre.
Thanks for using Q&A
4 channels can be recorded if you use a wideband lnb, this would be standard if you have sky Q already and it is working. If you do not have Sky Q and just regular a regular sky box or other box, you can still watch 1 channel and record another. Changing to a wideband lnb is not very expensive if you could manage it yourself.
How many sattalite inputs does it have
Hello Shabs
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Freesat Recordable 1TB 4K TV Box: The box should work fine with your existing satellite dish. Using a universal LNB you should be able to watch one channel and record another (as long as you have 2 satellite cables) or alternatively you should be able to record 2 channels and either watch back a recording or watch content from the On Demand menu.
Thank you for using Q&A.
HI Jo.
